"Love 119" is the third digital single by RIIZE. It was released on January 5, 2024. The song was later added as the eighth and last track on RIIZE's first mini album, Riizing.
A Japanese version of the song was released on January 24, 2024.
Seunghan didn't participate in the recording of the song due to him remaining on indefinite hiatus since November 21, 2023.[1]
Background[]
Through SM Entertainment's 3Q23 earning release, it was revealed that RIIZE will be releasing two singles, including a Japanese one, in early 2024.[2] On December 6, 2023, SM Entertainment confirmed the reports of RIIZE making their comeback with their new single on January 5, 2024.[3] On January 1, 2024, the group announced their third digital single titled "Love 119".[4]
Composition[]
"Love 119" is pop dance song that creates a dreamy atmosphere by contrasting a sweet piano riff with a beaty drum line. The lyrics are about a sudden first love compared to an emergency situation.[5]
Commercial performance[]
"Love 119" reached #1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in nine different regions. It also hit #1 on Melon's Hot 100, Bugs and Vibe in Korea and topped the Line Music's realtime Top 100 in Japan.[6]

Trivia[]
- This is the first release from the group where a member is absent, in this case being Seunghan.
- The song use samples from the 2005 song "응급실" from the Sassy Girl Choon Hyang OST by izi.[9]
- The choreography was created by ReiNa, JRICK, Ji Yun-hwan and Jeon Hyeok-jin, with RIIZE members Shotaro and Wonbin creating the chorus choreography after going through a formal evaluation process.[5]
- This song gave to RIIZE their first win.
