Jung Sung Chan (Hangul: 정성찬), also known by his stage name Sungchan (Hangul: 정성찬), is a South Korean singer under SM Entertainment. He is a member of the South Korean boy group RIIZE, and former member of group NCT and its sub-unit NCT U from 2020 to 2023.
Career[]
2020: Debut with NCT[]
On September 21, 2020, it was revealed that Sungchan, along with Shotaro, will be debuting in NCT with the album Resonance Pt. 1 on October 12.[1] He was officially introduced in the V LIVE broadcast on September 23.[2]
2023: Departure from NCT and debut with RIIZE[]
On May 24, SM announced that Sungchan would be officially leaving NCT in order to join the agency's upcoming new boy group scheduled to debut within 2023.[3] On August 1, 2023, Sungchan was officially introduced as a member of RIIZE.[4]
They debuted on September 4, 2023 with their first single album Get A Guitar.
